WHEN/HOW LONG?

We gather for worship (singing) and to hear from God's Word (Pastor’s message/sermon) Sunday mornings at 10:30am and our gatherings last for about 1 hour 30 minutes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

From the moment you visit Drumheller Community Church, our desire is that you would feel at home; like you are with family. We work hard every Sunday to help make this a place where you can feel comfortable.

Every Sunday morning we gather together to worship God, learn more about Him and connect with each other.

You can expect to be pointed toward God, as we join in contemporary worship (music) and as we take a look at the Bible in a way that is engaging, insightful and relevant.

Our service at DCC consists of two main aspects: our time of worship (singing) and our time of sharing from God’s Word (Pastor’s message/sermon). We sing worship together from 10:30am through till about 11:15am or so. And then following our worship we will have a time of speaking that will typically go till 12:00pm.

Interspersed in our times of worship and speaking, we will have a time of announcements, a greeting time, program presentations and once a month (on the first Sunday of the month) we celebrate communion (remembering Jesus’ death and coming back to life) together.

We also hear the latest church life news, and there is always an opportunity for prayer.

Following the service, our Pastors and members of our Prayer team will be available to pray for you and others, if needed. Please don't hesitate to come, if you would like prayer.

Sunday KidZone

What about my Kids?

We do our best to try and strike a balance between having our kids as active participating members of our church family, and ministering to them in an age appropriate manner.

In order to balance this, we have a Parents’ Room, which has a Facebook Live feed of the service, changing table, and microwave, and you are welcome to take advantage of it at any point. This is located at the end of our “Kidzone” hallway, directly outside of our gym doors.

We invite our kids (Ages 4-12) to be with us during our music time and then they can join the kids in KidZone Kids’ Church, before the message begins.  The kids are typically released around 11:15am to our KidZone spaces.

KidZone is led by loving teachers with a passion to teach your children about God and the Bible, lead children to Jesus, and show them God’s love. Our classrooms are fun, interactive and exciting. The kids will learn what the Bible has to say through stories, videos, object lessons, games, music and crafts!
